Empowering Local Youth: Inauguration of Lloyds Kaushalya Kendra.

The Lloyds Kaushalya Kendra (Skill Centre) was inaugurated at Anturla Fata, Ghugus, Chandrapur with a focus on fostering skill development and empowering local youth. The inauguration was graced by Hon. Vinay Gowda (IAS), District Collector of Chandrapur, Mr. Bhaiyaji Yerame, Assistant Commissioner of the District Skill Center, and Mr. Pawan Meshram, Vice President-HR of Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited (LMEL).
The center will initially offer training in Electrician and Mechanic-cum-Fitter job roles, aiming to provide accessible, quality education to create a skilled workforce. With plans to expand from its current batch size of 40 to over 200 students, the Kaushalya Kendra is set to significantly contribute to Chandrapur’s economic growth.
In his address, District Collector Vinay Gowda highlighted the vital role of skill development in today’s economy and praised the initiative’s potential to uplift local youth and create sustainable job opportunities. Mr. Pawan Meshram from LMEL expressed the company’s commitment to community development and corporate social responsibility, emphasizing the center’s role as a beacon of hope and progress for the region’s youth.
