At Lloyds Infinite Foundation, we are passionate about supporting the education and empowerment of the children in our community. For this we collaborated with Light of Life Trust (LOLT), a non-profit organization that works to improve the basic level of education in rural schools. Together, we implemented the Anando School Empowerment Program at three schools in Ghugus, Chandrapur district.

The Anando School Empowerment Program is a holistic intervention that aims to enhance the academic, personal, and social development of the students. The program provides various resources and ameneties to the schools, such as science labs, libraries, computer rooms, books, bags, notebooks, and other educational materials.

We selected three schools for the program: Priyadarshini Kanya Vidhyalaya, New English School Pandharkawada, and Indira Gandhi Vidhyalaya, Padoli School. These schools cater to students from low-income families, such as farmers, daily wage workers, and street vendors. These students lack access to quality computer education and exposure to urban school life.

We inaugurated the science labs, libraries, and computer rooms of the three schools and donated 15 computers with equipment, 3000 books with 159 types and subtypes, school bags, cupboards, and chairs to the schools. We also aided in construction of the science labs as well as provided all science lab materials.

We distributed educational materials to 749 students of the three schools. Each student received a bag with 12 notebooks, one geometric box, one drawing book, and one graph book. The students were delighted and grateful for the gifts.

The event was attended by Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Unit Head of Lloyds Metal, Mr. Prashant Puri, Mr. Pawan Meshram, Miss Namrapali Gondane, and other HODs of Lloyds Metal. They appreciated the initiative and expressed their commitment to continue supporting the cause of education.

The event was also attended by 86 teachers and staff of the three schools, 15 volunteers of LIF and LOLT, and 48 parents of the students. They expressed their gratitude towards Lloyds Metals and LIF for their generosity and collaboration. They also shared their feedback and suggestions for the program.

We are grateful to be able to uplift and empower the youth and are determined to improve their employability and hence standard of living.
