empowering communities through skill building: launching the garment unit in hedri village.

feb 12, 2023

At the core of our commitment to uplift communities, we proudly present the Garment Unit in Hedri Village, a spark of change that touches 12 nearby villages. This step shows how we're dedicated to creating better ways for people to learn useful skills and make positive changes in their lives.

We know that being successful means more than just knowing how to do something. So, we started a special training that lasted for 3 days. Our 56 trainees learned skills that are important for success in many parts of life. These skills included how to talk well, how to become more confident, and how to behave in a good way. These things help not just in making clothes, but in life too.

Working with Trisharan NGO, which is known for helping communities, we wanted to make sure our trainees got the best learning experience. As a way to say "good job," we gave certificates to the trainees. This shows that they finished the training and are ready for the next steps in our journey to help our community. This is part of our promise to do good things under our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Right now, our trainees are learning to make shirts and kurtis, traditional Indian outfits. We're giving them the things they need for sewing. This will help them have a better future.

We understand that working hard deserves a reward. So, we're giving each trainee Rs. 4000 as a reward. This isn't just about money – it's about believing in them and helping them become independent. This money will help them feel proud of their efforts and make them want to do even better. The Garment Unit is proof that learning can change lives. With each stitch, we're making a better future for our community. As our trainees learn and grow, we're here to help, step by step.
