Lloyds Infinite Foundation Wins National ICC Social Impact Award for Rural Development in Gadchiroli

Lloyds Infinite Foundation (LIF), the CSR arm of Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd., has earned national recognition by winning the Rural Development Category at the 8th ICC Social Impact Awards 2026 held on 12th March 2026 at Hotel Lalit Great Eastern, Kolkata.

The award recognizes the impactful and transformative work undertaken by the Foundation in the tribal-dominated district of Gadchiroli, where it has been implementing several initiatives focused on healthcare, education, women empowerment, livelihood development, and community welfare.

Among 72 companies and institutions from across the country that participated, Lloyds Infinite Foundation emerged as the winner in the Rural Development category.

On behalf of the Foundation, Dr. Riyaz Ahmed Farooqui, Chief Medical Officer of Lloyds Kali Ammal Memorial Hospital, Hedri, and Mr. Devendra Hirapure, Senior Officer from the CSR Department, received the award.

The awards were presented by an eminent jury including S. P. Gon Chaudhuri, President – NBIRT & Mission Innovation Champion at Mission Innovation 2019; Kunal Sarkar, Director & Senior Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Manipal Hospitals; and Rajeev Singh, Director General of the Indian Chamber of Commerce.

The jury appreciated the meaningful impact created by Lloyds Infinite Foundation in remote and underserved communities of Gadchiroli, particularly its efforts in strengthening rural healthcare services.
