Breast, Oral, and Cervical Cancer Awareness Camp Held at Konsari.

On November 30, 2024, a cancer awareness camp focusing on breast, oral, and cervical cancer was successfully organized at the Z.P. School Dining Hall, Konsari. The camp aimed to educate women about early detection, prevention, and treatment of these cancers.

The event featured Mr. Ravi Wasekar, a dedicated Cancer Counselor, as the primary guide. He was joined by esteemed guests:

  • Alka Mamulwar, Staff Nurse
  • Sukeshani Atram, Staff Nurse
  • Guidance and Discussion:
    Ravi Wasekar provided valuable insights into cancer awareness, emphasizing prevention and early detection. He addressed numerous questions from the 60 women attendees, fostering an open and informative discussion.
  • Health Problem Assessment:
    Wasekar conducted personal consultations to understand the health challenges faced by the participants.
  • Preliminary Examinations:
    Women with issues such as lumps, mouth ulcers, and menstrual irregularities underwent initial screenings. Guidance was provided for further medical evaluation and treatment.

The camp created a platform for women to gain knowledge, share concerns, and receive actionable advice on managing their health. It reinforced the importance of regular check-ups and early detection in combating cancer.
