Lloyds Kali Ammal Memorial Hospital (LKML), Hedri, in association with Lloyds Infinite Foundation (LIF), successfully inaugurated an HPV Vaccination Camp today to promote women’s health and cancer prevention. The camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Kirthy Reddy, Director, LIF, who personally addressed the attendees, highlighting the importance of the vaccination program and encouraging participation.
The HPV vaccine is being administered free of cost as part of LIF’s commitment to preventive healthcare. A total of 80 candidates received the vaccine during the camp, including 5 candidates from the 9–14 age group and 75 candidates from the 15–26 age group.
The first recipient of the vaccine was Dhani Sarkar, a 12-year-old student of Class VII from Ashti. The event marked another significant step towards improving health awareness and protection among young girls and women in the region.
