On November 29, 2024, a poultry distribution event was organized in Petha village with the goal of empowering women through sustainable livelihood opportunities. The event marked a significant step towards enhancing women’s economic independence and fostering community development.
The event was graced by several notable dignitaries, including:

Mr. Akshay Sir, a poultry vendor, provided comprehensive guidance to the women beneficiaries. His session covered essential aspects of poultry farming, including:
- Maintaining proper hygiene
- Regular immunization for the poultry
- Best practices for optimal growth and sustainability
To support the beneficiaries, the women received not only chicks but also three months’ worth of poultry feed to ensure the proper growth and development of their livestock.
The initiative, driven by the IGA team, is set to expand, with plans to implement the program on a larger scale in the near future.
