A total of 90 differently-abled and senior citizens received essential aids such as wheelchairs, patient beds, walking sticks, and lumbar belts. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Vidya Pal (AGM, LIF) and Sarpanch Mrs. Sandhya Patil, along with local dignitaries and community members. Both leaders praised the initiative as a symbol of dignity and empowerment for those in need. A Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) health camp was organized at Nakoda on June 20, 2025, providing essential medical care and health awareness to the rural community. A total of 76 patients were treated, including 15 with non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like diabetes and hypertension. The camp also addressed skin and chronic conditions, while a special session on menstrual hygiene for 55 adolescent girls and women promoted safe practices and awareness. Free sanitary pads were distributed. The initiative reinforced MMU’s dedication to accessible rural healthcare and women’s health education.

Yavatmal: In a heartwarming social welfare initiative, Lloyds Infinite Foundation, in collaboration with Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd., organized healthcare aid distribution programs at Wadha and Sawangi Gram Panchayats. A total of 202 elderly and differently-abled citizens received essential support materials like wheelchairs, walking sticks, patient beds, and lumbar belts—greatly enhancing their mobility and comfort. The events were inaugurated by Mr. Sandipan Bagchi (DGM, Lloyds Metals) and Mrs. Shalutai Thakare (Sarpanch, Sawangi), in the presence of dignitaries including Mr. Vijay Pidurkar and Mrs. Vidya Pal (AGM, LIF). The programs were coordinated with active support from Gram Panchayat members, ASHA workers, and the LIF team. In a meaningful step toward strengthening rural healthcare and hygiene awareness, the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) launched its services in Dhanora village on June 16, 2025. The event was inaugurated by Shri Vinod Khewle, Deputy Sarpanch of Dhanora, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers. A special awareness session on menstrual hygiene was conducted for 43 adolescent girls, aiming to promote safe practices and challenge prevailing taboos around menstruation. Sanitary napkins were distributed to all young girls and women of menstruating age to encourage healthy hygiene habits. In addition to the awareness campaign, the MMU team provided free health check-ups to 48 villagers, offering vital medical support in an otherwise underserved region. The day’s services were led by Dr. Payal Kondekar, along with Mr. Roshan Kamble, Mr. Roshan Lohakare, and Outreach Worker Priya Pimpalkar. This launch marks a vital beginning for healthcare access in Dhanora and sets the tone for future outreach efforts, especially those aimed at women’s health, empowerment, and rural well-being.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Lloyds Infinite Foundation (LIF) led a series of impactful environmental activities across Surjagarh and Konsari, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and climate awareness. In Surjagarh, 100 mango saplings were distributed among villagers, while 80 neem and 80 kaner saplings were planted near the temple premises, strengthening local green cover. At Konsari, the day began with a Dindi Rally, spreading awareness on environmental protection and inspiring community participation in tree plantation. A plantation drive followed at the Zilla Parishad Primary Center School, and fruit-bearing trees were distributed to women attendees. The celebrations saw active participation from LIF’s CSR and Environment Teams, along with 120 villagers, Lights Academy students, and dignitaries including Konsari Gram Sevak, Police Patil, GP Members, and company officials. Adding to the awareness drive, 160 students from Lloyds Sports Academy took part in a drawing competition on environmental themes. This event marked the launch of a week-long plantation campaign, aiming to plant 3,000 trees in the region—turning words into action for a greener tomorrow.

From musical chairs to tug of war, the fun-filled activities sparked energy, laughter, and team spirit—with winners taking home cheers and exciting prizes. As the retreat concluded, every participant left with renewed purpose, deeper connections, and memories rooted in joy and collective growth. Athletes trained under Lloyds Sports Academy made a notable mark at the State Level Athletics Championship held in Nagpur. Yash Bhandekar secured 4th place in the 10,000m U-20 category, showcasing endurance and grit on the track. Monika Sannu Madavi soared high by winning Silver in High Jump (U-20) with a jump of 1.46m, proving that determination has no limits. In team sports, Lloyds Kabaddi stars are all set to represent Maharashtra in the U-18 category. Lloyds Infinite Foundation (LIF) organised a 10-day Summer Camp 2025 in Gadchiroli that brought together over 500 children, including 90 from remote tribal villages, for a transformative experience filled with learning, creativity, and sportsmanship. The camp became a platform for 472 children to explore diverse talents — from archery, kabaddi, art to various creative skills. Prizes worth ₹2.35 lakh and certificates were awarded, giving recognition to abilities that often go unnoticed in remote communities. The camp concluded with smiling faces, proud performances, and a spirit of unity — truly fulfilling LIF’s vision of igniting curiosity, nurturing ambition, and fostering community bonding.

On 7th May 2025, a landmark MoU was signed between Gondwana University, Gadchiroli and Curtin University, Australia to launch mining-focused diploma programs. Backed by Lloyds Infinite Foundation and Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd, the initiative aims to transform Gadchiroli into a hub for skilled mining professionals. The signing, held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, was graced by Governor CP Radhakrishnan, CM Devendra Fadnavis, Australian Consul-General Paul Murphy, Lloyds MD B. Prabhakaran, and Gondwana University VC Dr. Prashant Bokare. LIF plays a key role in this initiative, with Lloyds pledging major funding to set up a University Institute of Technology. Courses approved by MSBTE will train 30 students each in mining technology, steel technology, and computer science with mining applications. The curriculum will be developed jointly by Lloyds Infinite Foundation, Gondwana University, and Curtin University, combining global expertise and local opportunity to build a skilled future for the region.

Lloyds Infinite Foundation, in association with the Central Institute for Cotton Research (CICR), Nagpur, successfully conducted a Biochar Demonstration Training Program at Shengaon. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local farmers and agricultural youth. The session was inaugurated by Mr. Y.G.S. Prasad, Unit Head, Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd., Ghugus. Dr. A. Manikandan, Senior Scientist from CICR, served as the resource person, sharing key insights on biochar’s role in enhancing soil fertility, water retention, and promoting sustainable farming practices. Distinguished guests included Mr. Prashant Puri (Senior VP, Lloyds Metals), Sarpanch Mrs. Pushpatai Malekar, and Mr. Deepak Salve (Deputy Manager, Lloyds Metals). Live demonstrations and expert guidance enabled participants to better understand the process and advantages of biochar production. The initiative was well-received by the farming community, with many expressing keen interest in adopting biochar techniques.
