Nutrition & Health: Strengthening community well-being through Lloyds CSR in health and nutrition programs in Maharashtra.

At Lloyds Infinite Foundation, we believe that good health and balanced nutrition are the foundation of strong, self-reliant communities. Through our Lloyds CSR in health and nutrition programs in Maharashtra, we are creating real and measurable change in underserved regions like Gadchiroli, where healthcare and nutrition gaps has historically held communities back. Our CSR programs in health and nutrition in Gadchiroli are focused on addressing the unique needs of the local communities and tribal population, from improving their access to medical care to promoting better dietary practices. At Lloyds Infinite Foundation, we recognize that achieving lasting transformation in community health requires a strong network of hospitals, a robust healthcare system, and sustained lifestyle interventions. It is driven by awareness, empowerment, and sustainability—principles that form the cornerstone of Lloyds CSR health and nutrition program in Maharashtra. In the heart of Hedri, the Lloyds Kali Ammal Memorial Hospital stands as a beacon of our unwavering commitment to inclusive and accessible healthcare. Established in 2023, the hospital was envisioned to bridge the gap in quality medical services for underserved communities in the region. Today, it caters to over 100–150 patients every day, providing free consultations, essential surgeries, diagnostic care, and regular medical outreach camps to ensure that healthcare reaches even the most remote villages. Beyond treatment, the hospital also emphasizes preventive healthcare, maternal and child wellness, and community awareness programs, making it a cornerstone of holistic wellbeing for the people of Gadchiroli and surrounding areas. These efforts ensure that essential healthcare reaches even the most remote villages where medical support was once scarce. As part of our broader CSR initiatives in Gadchiroli, the Lloyds Infinite Foundation Food Distribution Gadchiroli Program provides nutritious food kits containing rice, lentils, and oils to families affected by illness or floods. For many mothers, this simple yet consistent nutritional support has played a vital role in recovery and child nourishment. A core focus of our CSR in nutrition efforts is combating tuberculosis (TB) a pressing public health challenge in the region. Through our tuberculosis awareness programs in Gadchiroli, the B. Prabhakaran TB Awareness Initiative, we engage the local communities through street plays, door-to-door surveys, educational sessions and offer TB patients protein and vitamin rich food kits to accelerate their recovery. Our programs focus on addressing both immediate nutritional needs and the long-term well-being of communities. Through regular food drives, provision of free nutritious meals for children, and a dedicated canteen facility that offers wholesome meals to all employees, Lloyds Infinite Foundation ensures equitable access to quality food. The canteen currently serves hundreds of individuals daily, reflecting our belief that nourishment is fundamental to productivity, dignity, and overall well-being. In addition, our kitchen gardening workshops have evolved into structured training modules aimed at fostering self-sufficiency. Under this initiative, families are equipped with seeds, essential supplies, and expert guidance to cultivate their own produce. This not only enhances food security but also encourages sustainable practices and a deeper understanding of nutrition at the grassroots level. Together, these initiatives reinforce Lloyds Infinite Foundation’s commitment to promoting holistic health, reducing hunger, and empowering communities to lead healthier, more sustainable lives. Despite challenges such as remote terrain diverse socio-cultural contexts, our collaboration with local leaders like the ASHA workers and village communities ensures deep-rooted participation and trust. Regular follow-up camps help monitor progress, refine our approach, and celebrate milestones along the way. Through our Lloyds CSR health and nutrition programs in Gadchiroli and Hedri, we continue to uplift lives and inspire long-term well-being.
