International Chess Day celebrated at LRVN School, Hedri and ZP High School, Konsari.

International Chess Day was celebrated with fervor at Lloyds Raj Vidya Niketan, Hedri, Etapalli and Zilla Parishad High School, Konsari by Lloyds Infinite Foundation’s Sports and CSR team. Around 40 children enthusiastically participated in the chess competitions held, with LMEL, LIF and School officials motivating and cheering the children. At Hedri, Ms. Dhanvi Nainar stood first, Mr. Prince Gargam stood second, and Mr. Aditya Aghao stood third. At Konsari, in the boys category, first position was secured by Mr. Vedant Akulwar, second rank by Mr. Mohit Kannake, third rank by Mr. Prem Parchake. While in girls category, Ms. Sanskriti Kasture stood first, Ms. Shreya Yellewar stood second, and Ms. Prachi Guddekar third. At LIF, through Lloyds Sports Academy we are committed to grooming the future sports champs.

Celebrating Sportsmanship: LLOYDS Inter-Village Tournament

Lloyds Infinite Foundation, as part of its CSR sports initiative, proudly organized the Inter-Village Volleyball and Tug of War Tournament from June 26 to June 30, 2024, at Itulnar village. This spirited event saw participation from 20 village teams across Gadchiroli district, showcasing athleticism and teamwork. The tournament featured intense volleyball matches for men and competitive tug of war battles for women. Honoring local talent and fostering community spirit, the event was graced by esteemed guests including the Chief Guest, Itulnar Village Sarpanch and Patel, Director C. Kumaresan, CSR Officer Sathya Rao, and HR Officer Vijayakumar, who presented awards to the deserving champions. Highlights: Volleyball Champions: Konsari Village Tug of War Champions: Krushnar Village With a total of 200 volleyball players and 80 tug of war participants, the tournament not only promoted sportsmanship but also united villages in friendly competition. The youth athletic team from Lloyds Sports Academy delivered an outstanding performance at the Gadchiroli District Youth Athletic Meet on May 12, 2024, securing a total of 15 medals: 7 gold, 6 silver, and 2 bronze.
