Poultry Distribution Event Empowers Women in Petha Village.

On November 29, 2024, a poultry distribution event was organized in Petha village with the goal of empowering women through sustainable livelihood opportunities. The event marked a significant step towards enhancing women’s economic independence and fostering community development. The event was graced by several notable dignitaries, including: Gajanan Sir (GM, CSR) Sathya Rao Sir (Senior Consultant) Dilip Sir (DGM, CSR) Vaneeta Korami (Sarpanch, Todasa GP) Sheetal Veladi (ASHA Worker) Dassa Korami (Police Patil) Mr. Akshay Sir, a poultry vendor, provided comprehensive guidance to the women beneficiaries. His session covered essential aspects of poultry farming, including: Maintaining proper hygiene Regular immunization for the poultry Best practices for optimal growth and sustainability To support the beneficiaries, the women received not only chicks but also three months’ worth of poultry feed to ensure the proper growth and development of their livestock. The initiative, driven by the IGA team, is set to expand, with plans to implement the program on a larger scale in the near future. Free Health Camp and Ayushman Golden Card KYC Camp Held in Konsari Village.

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, Lloyds Infinite Foundation (Konsari Iron Project) CSR Department successfully organized a Free Health Camp and Ayushman Golden Card KYC Camp at Gram Panchayat Konsari. The event received an enthusiastic response from the villagers, highlighting their commitment to improving health and wellness in the community. Key Outcomes: Free Health Camp: A total of 82 beneficiaries received free medical treatment and essential medicines. Ayushman Golden Card KYC Camp: 119 beneficiaries completed their KYC process for the Ayushman Golden Card, facilitating better access to healthcare services. On April 29th, 2024, our team, accompanied by 11 farmers, embarked on an enriching journey to the MUL block in Chandrapur district. The purpose? To delve into modern farming practices and glean insights from progressive farmers like Pramod Soyam, who graciously shared their expertise with the eager attendees. Key Highlights: Knowledge Exchange: Pramod Soyam, a beacon of innovation, illuminated the path towards modern agriculture by introducing the farmers to cutting-edge cultivation techniques. His insights sparked enthusiasm among the participants, who eagerly absorbed the newfound knowledge. Eagerness to Learn: The farmers displayed a palpable excitement and willingness to embrace these innovative methods. They recognized the potential of these techniques to revolutionize their farming practices and enhance crop yields. Featured Techniques: The visit showcased a spectrum of modern farming techniques, including mulching cultivation, onion cleaning machines, and advanced bean cultivation methods. Menstrual Awareness: Menstruation is a natural process and nothing to be ashamed of It is important to maintain hygiene and use sanitary napkins during menstruation. Discussion on menstrual health-related issues for girls and women. Sanitary Napkin Distribution: Out of the 110 adolescent girls and women present, 40 adolescent girls and 25 women were distributed sanitary napkins. An appeal was made to take sanitary napkins from the ORC center every month.
