Inter-Village Cricket Tournament Hosted by Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited & Lloyds Infinite Foundation On August 30, 2024, an exciting Inter-Village Cricket Tournament was organized by Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited and Lloyds Infinite Foundation at Hedri Village. The tournament, which took place from August 27 to August 29, 2024, saw spirited competition among 14 participating teams. Lloyds Sports Academy Shines in ‘Tiranga Marathon Competition’ by Nagar Panchayat Chamorshi.

Under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative by Nagar Panchayat Chamorshi, a ‘Tiranga Marathon Competition’ was organized to celebrate the spirit of patriotism. Lloyds Sports Academy students excelled in the event, securing the top three positions. Yash Bhandekar claimed 1st place, followed by Nageshwar Rasse in 2nd place, and Roshan Badalkar in 3rd place. This victory further highlights the dedication and hard work of our athletes, as well as Lloyds Sports Academy’s commitment to fostering sports excellence in the district.

Lloyds Sports Academy Athletes Dominate Gadchiroli Marathon.

In the Gadchiroli Marathon organized by the District Sports Office, Lloyds Sports Academy athletes displayed exceptional performance by securing the top two positions. Yash Bhandekar claimed 1st place, followed closely by Rohan Bhurse in 2nd place. This achievement showcases the dedication and competitive spirit of our athletes and further highlights Lloyds Sports Academy’s role in promoting athletic excellence in the district.

Lloyds Sports Academy Students Selected for Gadchiroli Police Constabulary.

It is a moment of immense pride for Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited and Lloyds Infinite Foundation as three students from our Lloyds Sports Academy—Prakash Miri, Nageshwar Rasse, and Aniket Allewar—have been selected in the recent Gadchiroli Police Constabulary selection. Our Managing Director, Mr. B. Prabhakaran, personally met and congratulated the young achievers, recognizing their hard work and dedication. Lloyds Sports Academy continues to strive toward building an effective sports ecosystem in the district, empowering and uplifting the youth through athletic development and opportunity.

Nageshwar Rasse Secures 4th Place in World Tribal Day Marathon.

On the occasion of World Tribal Day, a grand marathon competition was held in Gadchiroli, celebrating the theme of Nature, Culture, and Historical Heritage. Lloyds Sports Academy athlete Nageshwar Rasse showcased his talent and determination, securing an impressive 4th position in the marathon. This achievement reflects the dedication of our athletes and reinforces Lloyds Sports Academy’s commitment to nurturing sports talent in the region.

PRATHAM and Lloyds Infinite Foundation Empower Local Youth Through Skill Development Programs.

PRATHAM, a leading NGO focused on improving education quality, has successfully implemented comprehensive skill development training programs for local youth under its CSR initiatives in collaboration with Lloyds Infinite Foundation (LIF). Through a joint effort with Village Gram Panchayats and Sarpanchs, 29 young individuals were selected from the community for skill training aligned with the requirements of Lloyds Metal and Energy Limited (LMEL), Ghugus. The selected youth are undergoing specialized training in Bar Bending, Electrician, and Welder job roles. The training center was officially inaugurated by the Unit Head of Lloyds Metal and Energy Limited, Ghugus. Upon successful completion of their two-month training and assessments, these individuals will be deployed under a contractual role at LMEL, contributing to both the local economy and the company’s workforce.

Committed to Quality Education for All

As part of Lloyds Infinite Foundation’s commitment to ensuring each child receives good quality and affordable education, the CSR team distributed free textbooks to students of classes 9-12 at Zilla Parishad High School and Junior College, Konsari. A total of 137 students benefitted from this drive. In the coming days, this initiative will continue with the distribution of school accessories to the students. “Books are the means by which we build bridges between cultures.” – Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan LIF is dedicated to ensuring every child has access to this powerful tool called EDUCATION.

International Chess Day celebrated at LRVN School, Hedri and ZP High School, Konsari.

International Chess Day was celebrated with fervor at Lloyds Raj Vidya Niketan, Hedri, Etapalli and Zilla Parishad High School, Konsari by Lloyds Infinite Foundation’s Sports and CSR team. Around 40 children enthusiastically participated in the chess competitions held, with LMEL, LIF and School officials motivating and cheering the children. At Hedri, Ms. Dhanvi Nainar stood first, Mr. Prince Gargam stood second, and Mr. Aditya Aghao stood third. At Konsari, in the boys category, first position was secured by Mr. Vedant Akulwar, second rank by Mr. Mohit Kannake, third rank by Mr. Prem Parchake. While in girls category, Ms. Sanskriti Kasture stood first, Ms. Shreya Yellewar stood second, and Ms. Prachi Guddekar third. At LIF, through Lloyds Sports Academy we are committed to grooming the future sports champs.

A Step Towards a Brighter Future for the Children of Konsari

Lloyds Infinite Foundation, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, has completed and inaugurated the new school building and dining hall at Zilla Parishad Primary Center School, Konsari. The inauguration was done by Mr. Prabhakaran Balasubramanian, (MD, LMEL), and esteemed dignitaries including Mr. S. Venkateswaran (ED, LMEL), Col. Sangram Mahapatra (VP – Corporate Service, LMEL), Mr. Vivek Nakade (Deputy Education Officer), Mr. Shrikant Pavde (Sarpanch, GP Konsari), Mr. Bholu Somnani (Chairman of School Management Committee), Mr. Ratanrao Akkewar (Up-Sarpanch, GP Konsari), and others were present. Over 140 young minds from Class 1 to 4 will now have a conducive environment to learn and grow. Education is the basis on which today’s generation will become the ideal torchbearers of our country, and LIF is committed to empowering the future of our children with the best educational facilities and opportunities.
